I plan to build this piece for my apartment as soon as I move! I’m thinking this would be a great multi-functional piece for hiding my cat’s litter box and acting as my television stand or an entry way bench. Love the modern, minimalist look.
Cost would be approximately $79 for the Besta Shelf unit, the Besta door, and the Capita legs. You simply cut a hole on the inside to link the shelf units together and place the cat litter box inside the unit with the door. Very efficient design that does more than hide the box… many of these types of designs end with a large bulky box that is just extra surface space, but this one can be used for other purposes as well. Some comments do bring a valid point that it is a pretty tight space for a cat box, but it’s up to you to judge it for yourself and see if it works for your home and cat. Hopefully I find it big enough for mine… if not, surely there are some alternative units where we can apply the same ideas found on this one… Such as using this taller Besta unit with this Besta door.
